Dramani takes over from Sellas Tetteh, who led the outfit to the 2015 World Youth Championship in New Zealand after winning the tournament in 2009.
He is also currently the caretaker coach of the Sierra Leonean national team.
The GFA Youth Development Officer will be assisted by former Ghana international, Yaw Preko ahead of the 2017 Africa Youth Championship qualifiers scheduled to begin in April.
Dramani will also be assigned to other duties with the GFA in consultation with the Technical Committee.
Before this appointment, Dramani had served as coach of the 2012 bronze-medalist winning Black Maidens squad, Asante Kotoko and also qualified the Black Princesses to the 2016 World Cup in Papua New Guinea.
