The Morning Call
The International Criminal Court, has asked South Africa and Burundi to “reconsider their positions on withdrawing from the ICC. Africa’s economic giant South Africa announced they had started the process of exiting the International Criminal Court, a move that has also left the world’s justice institution shaken. The backlash however is not only from the two countries as other countries like Kenya and Uganda have contemplated the idea. From its adoption to when it came into force in 2002, its principles appeared tolerant acting for the greater good of the entire world, however, to date it has indicted and prosecuted so far approximately 90% Africans.
