Museveni, a former military man turned democrat is known for attending public events where he make strong points relating to marriage and family. He had some words of advice for young people, ‘‘To the young people, I urge you to make your parents proud by marrying. Also work hard to grow whatever wealth your parents bequeath to you.’‘
According to the father of four, there was a clear correlation between young people getting married and the kind of upbringing that they received from their parents. He further underlined the view that marriage was the best route for procreation.
