Earlier this week the United Nations pointed out youth unemployment will rise for the first time in three years this year with the rate of unemployment in some parts of the continent like the north stagnant at 29 percent. The report has pointed out that the labour force participation in the Sub Saharan part of the continent is very strong, however enrollment of individuals into learning institutions in the region is still very low
