Hundreds of Filipino’s gathered in the streets to watch the much-awaited bout of celebrated boxer Manny Pacquiao as he took on American boxer Timothy Bradley.

Amidst cheers and jeers, the residents rooted for their local hero.
“For us Filipinos, we’re very happy for Manny Pacquiao on his victory. We’re very delighted that our prayers were answered when he won the fight,” said James Moreno, a retired employee and fan of Pacquiao.
37-year-old Pacquiao knocked down 32-year-old Bradley in the seventh and ninth rounds of the fight which is touted as Pacquiao’s last professional bout.

The fight was the first for Pacquiao after nearly a year after his defeat by Floyd Mayweather.
The sitting congressman in Phillipines, promised to concentrate on politics and his family.
He is looking for a knock-out win in next month’s elections in the Philippines as opinion polls showed him in tenth place for 12 vacant seats in the upper house of Congress.
