About 40,000 Chileans gathered at the Estadio Nacional on Sunday in Santiago to celebrate the country’s centenario win.
“We have made many sacrifices to give the country this joy. What we achieved is very valuable. We once again appreciate the patience that you have had with us, especially all those moments in which we weren’t perhaps qualified to achieve these successes,” said Claudio Bravo, the team captain.

Last year, the team won their first COPA America in the exact same way, beating Argentina on penalties after extra time.
