Humanitarian aid
The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) will strengthen its cooperation with China on its activities related to humanitarian assistance in Africa.
During his visit to Ethiopia this week, the Special Envoy of the ICRC President on China Affairs, Jacques Pellet said the two are seeking more cooperation on stabilization of countries affected by conflicts.

The aid organisation also said China would help to build structures that would include the protection of workers’ health and other pressing health and welfare related matters.
The two signed a memorandum of Understanding 2015, committing to cooperate in area including media services, training and humanitarian affairs.
