Morocco
The final round of games in Group A at the ongoing Championship of African Nations (CHAN) ended yesterday. The two teams that had already qualified – hosts Morocco and Sudan played out a goalless draw.
Morocco, however, topped the group on superior goal difference, whiles Sudan took second spot. The two will be keenly watching today’s group games as it will determine their opponents in the quarter-final stage.
In the other game of the group, Guinea beat Mauritania but still have to pack back home. Their goal came early on in the game thanks to Ibrahima Sory Sankhon’s 15th minutes strike.

In matches slated for today, teams in the Group B play their final fixtures. Uganda and Ivory Coast play a match of losers, both teams are out of the competition.
Zambia and Namibia will face off in the other game to determine who tops the group. Winner of the group will face Sudan whiles the second placed team meets hosts Morocco.
In the case of Group C, Nigeria, Libya and Rwanda all have chances of making the next round. Equatorial Guinea are effectively out. Congo is also through from Group D as Angola and Burkina Faso battle for the last spot.
