Burqini controversy in France [The Morning Call]

The Burqini ban in France is stirring up so much controversy. Photos of armed French police who forced a woman to take off some clothing at a beach in Nice has fuelled the debate. After the Nice attack, French premier Manuel Valls said the Burqini was part of a political project based “on the enslavement of women”, and was “not compatible with the values of France and the republic”.
