The 2016 CAF Confederations Cup takes off across the continent this weekend.
Africa Sports of the Ivory Coast, Villa from Uganda and Al Ittihad of Libya are among the top clubs featuring in the 2016 CAF Confederation Cup preliminary round.
The second-tier Confederation Cup has seen a withdrawal by Gaborone United of Botswana and Wallidan from Gambia, giving JKU of Zanzibar and Mouloudia d’Oran byes.
It comes after Ajax Cape Town of South Africa rescinded a decision to pull out of their match against Angola’s Sagrada Esperanca.
Nigeria’s Nasarawa United return to the competition after a nine-year break.
Other fixtures include Kawkab Marrakesh (Morocco) v USFA (Burundi), Saint Eloi Lupopo (DR Congo) v Bandari (Kenya) and El Khartoum (Sudan) v Villa (Uganda).
The return leg matches will be played on the weekend of February 26 to 28.
