Chinese Super League side Hebei China Fortune FC have completed the signing of Roma’s winger Gervinho, the club announced on Tuesday.
The 28-year-old Ivorian international was transferred for an estimated €18 million.
Gervinho departed Italy on Monday afternoon after bidding a tearful farewell to the club’s staff and his teammates, arriving in China, where personal terms were quickly agreed with his new employers.

Gervinho moved to Roma from Arsenal in 2013 and scored 26 goals in 88 appearances for the capital club.
The Ivorian has also played for Belgian side Beveren and French Ligue 1 clubs Le Mans and Lille, and competed at the 2008, 2010, 2012, 2013 and 2015 Africa Cup of Nations as well as the 2010 and 2014 FIFA World Cup with the Elephants.
