CAF Co-Federation Cup Champions, TP Mazembe on Tuesday appointed Theirry Froger as their new head coach.
This come following an agreement with the club’s president, Moise Katumbi, the new coach would be in charge of the team until the end of December.
He is expected to take over from the former coach, Hubert Velud who left the Congolese club to join the Tunisia’s Etolie Sportive du Sahal at the end of 2016 seasons.
The 53 year old is expected to fly to South Africa to watch TP Mazembe as they take on mamelodi Sundowns in the CAF Super Cup competition on Saturday.
It is expected that the duo of assistants Pamphile Mihayo Kazembe and David Mwakasu will sit on the bench with Froger watching from the stands.

Froger has agreed to be in charge of the team until the end of the year and will oversee their CAF Champions League campaign this year.
He was previously in charge of the Togo national team.
