English Championship side, Newcastle United have confirmed that their Senegalese striker, Papiss Cisse, has joined Chinese side, Shandong Luneng.
‘‘The 31-year-old striker has signed for the Chinese Super League club for an undisclosed fee, and leaves Tyneside after four-and-a-half years,’‘ a club statement read.

Cisse joined the Magpies in January 2012 from German side SC Freiburg and scored 44 goals in 131 appearances for the Club. The club dropped into the second tier of English football after getting relegated from the Premier League.
Cissé made his international debut for Senegal in 2009, in a friendly away to Congo DR. He scored both goals as Senegal emerged victorious by 2–1.
He also scored a hat-trick in his fourth appearance for the Teranga Lions, as Senegal thumped Mauritius by 7–0 victory on 9 October 2010 in a qualifying match for the 2012 Africa Cup of Nations.
