Rwandans travelling to the Republic of Indonesia would get free visa for 30 days, according to the country’s immigration.
This was contained in a public notice issued by the Director General of Immigration and Emigration.

‘‘The Director General of Immigration and Emigration is pleased to inform the general public that the Republic of Indonesia waived visa fee for Rwandan nationals travelling with ordinary, diplomatic and service passport,’‘ the statement said.
The conditions however are that, the visa cannot be extended or extended to any type because it is specially for tourism, family, social, art and cultural, government visit etc.
The statement further clarified that the waiver could only be applied for at specific immigration checkpoints in Indonesia.
Rwandans wishing to visit Indonesia have to go to Tanzania’s capital Dar es Salaam, where the Indonesian embassy is also accredited to Rwanda.
Indonesia is a Southeast Asian nation constituted of volcanic islands. It is also famed for its cultural diversity as it is home to hundreds of ethnic groups speaking different languages. Its beaches, volcanoes and jungles that shelter elephants and other animals makes it a tourist destination. Its capital is Jakarta.
