Ecobank's Fintech Challenge [Hi-Tech]

In this episode of Hi-Tech, Donald Trump’s recent executive order on immigration continues to face massive opposition. Several technology giants, including Apple, Google and Microsoft, banded together on Sunday to file a legal brief opposing Trump’s temporary immigration ban, arguing that it is discriminatory and has a negative impact on business.

Ecobank is challenging Africa’s new generation of entrepreneurs to find lasting solutions on the continent’s banking issues.

The bank which prides itself as a Pan-African lender has launched a competition for African technology startups and developers in all 54 African countries, to build and deploy Fintech innovations and banking solutions across the continent. The challenge is dubbed Ecobank Fintech Challenge.
