Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has arrived in Ghana on the second leg of his West African tour which started in Ivory Coast.
President Erdogan on Tuesday met with the Speaker of Ghana’s Parliament and later addressed the House.
He is also expected to hold bilateral talks with Ghana’s President John Dramani Mahama on Tuesday before visiting the Kwame Nkrumah Memorial park with his wife.
The First Ladies of both countries will hold discussions and later visit the Osu Children’s Home, a state run orphanage.
Ghana is the third trade partner of Turkey in sub-saharan Africa after South Africa and Nigeria.
Erdogan is later expected to head to Nigeria and Guinea respectively
