Moroccan giants Raja Casablanca have mutually terminated their three-year contract with Ghanaian striker Nathaniel Asamoah after he was deemed surplus to the club.
Raja’s decision to cancel the deal of the 25-year-old was based on the attacker’s failure to impress the club’s current Coach Rachid Taoussi.
The former Asante Kotoko forward joined Raja Casablanca at the request of the North African side’s ex-Coach Ruud Krol.
The Ghana striker, per the agreement of his contract termination, is to revert to Medeama SC.
Asamoah, who ended last term’s Ghana Premier League as the second top scorer with 18 goals, moved to Raja Casablanca on a three-year contract from Medeama SC in August.
