The US government has has been urged to intensify efforts towards peace in the Middle East, which has failed for several years now.
The call was made during a joint press release published on Saturday at the end of a coordination meeting of foreign affairs ministers from , Jordan, Palestine and Egypt.
“There must be a clear vision about the negotiations towards a two State solution with East Jerusalem as the capital of Palestine and Western Jerusalem as the capital of Israel,” the Palestinian minister of foreign affairs, Riyadh Al-Malki said.
This week the three three Heads of Government will meet White House Adviser Jared Kushner.
During a visit to the region in May, U.S president Donald Trump called on the Israelis and Palestinians to do all it takes to achieve an ideal agreement.
