Africa is rich in its history. The several erected monuments are a testimony of the many civilizations that have so far existed on the continent. This is why archaeologists from 14 countries recently met in Bahrain at a conference devoted to Islamic archaeology, to understand the importance of promoting the many archaeological sites of the Islamic period in Africa.
