There was a time when sports was considered a man’s world; that’s ancient history now. Whether it’s breaking records, influencing thinking or even making money, there are women that represent or have been representing the best in the game. In light of marking the International Women’s Day last Wednesday, we profiled some of the continent’s powerful women in sports.
