The results of the November polls in Haiti has been described as an electoral coup with pockets of violence in the poor districts in the capital Port au Prince and intimidation of journalists. The american ambassador in Haiti, Peter Mulrean said expressed concerns over the weekend over the situation while urging the opposition to accept the results that put Jovenel Moïse of PHTK in first place with more than 50 percent of the votes.
