Hillary Clinton has pneumonia. This has been confirmed by her doctor on Sunday, hours after leaving a 9/11 commemoration in New York early.
Her doctor, Lisa Bardack, said in a statement that she has been experiencing a cough related to allergies and that an examination on Friday showed that she was suffering from pneumonia.
It comes at a crucial time in the White House race against Republican rival Donald Trump.

The incident seems certain to prompt further scrutiny of Clinton’s health and her campaign’s transparency.
A Fox News host, Todd Starnes, tweeted on Monday that Trump in an interview had extended his well wishes to Hillary and said he hoped that she gets back on the campaign trail soon.
Clinton had surgery in 2012 for a blood clot, although her doctors say she made a full recovery.
