Somalia
A CCTV footage has shown what could be the suspects behind the Somalia plane bomb blast.
In the video released by the Somali National Intelligence Agency( NISA) two workers are seen at the Mogadishu airport terminal handing a suspected suicide bomber a laptop full of explosives.
“Some of the people that we have arrested are co-operating,” Somali government spokesman Abdisalam Aato said.
Security has also been beefed up at the airport as a result. Officials said the suicide bomber was sucked out from the plane in mid air, during the blast.
Daallo Airlines Chief Executive, Mohamed Yassin told the Reuters news agency most of the passengers on board that day were scheduled to have been on a Turkish airline which was later cancelled due to bad weather.
“That particular passenger (the suicide bomber) boarded the aircraft on a Turkish Airlines boarding pass and was on the list for the Turkish Airlines manifest,” Yassin said
No group has claimed responsibility yet for the attack.
