Egypt is set to receive three Rafale fighter jets from France, an official of the Embassy of France in Cairo said.
This comes six months after the first three deliveries of the 24 aircraft ordered in February 2015.
The deliveries were made in July 2015.
A contract signed between the two countries was the first to be concluded for export by manufacturer Dassault Aviation.
The deal was reportedly valued at 5.2 billion euros ($5.9 billion).
In October 2015, the two countries also finalized the purchase of two French Mistral warships whose sale to Russia was cancelled by France due to its involvement in the Ukranian crisis.
