Russia 2018: Nigeria's loudest cheerleader AS Roma curates 'most beautiful jersey'

Nigeria

Nigeria’s loudest cheerleader who is surprisingly Italian club side AS Roma have taken the love for the ‘most beautiful Super Eagles’ jersey to yet another level, tasking their designers to curate a kit that mixes the ‘classic Roma style’ and the ‘fresh Super Eagles’ look.

AS Roma first announced their support for the Super Eagles in May, explaining that they chose to go for the three time African champions considering that their own country, Italy did not qualify for the World Cup in Russia. Inspired by several polls including one by international sports broadcaster Sky that voted the Nigerian jersey as ‘the most beautiful’ at this year’s tournament, AS Roma sought to experiment and borrow the Nigerians’ flair.
