African Heads of States present in Brazzaville, Congo recently signed the Memorandum of Understanding establishing the Congo Basin Climate Commission.
One year after its creation, the operationalization of the blue fund, the financial tool of the climate commission of the Congo Basin entered its new phase of action with the first summit of Heads of States held on April 29 in the capital, Brazzaville.
A summit was preceded by a ministerial segment. This third conference of ministers from Central African, East African and Moroccan states initially validated a roadmap to address climate issues in the countries of the Congo Basin, followed by a prefiguration study that should serve to convince investors.
