President Joseph Kabila met his South African counterpart, Jacob Zuma, in Pretoria on Sunday.
The visit comes during the 10th session of the South Africa-DRC bi-national commission (BNC) which is underway.
At the BNC summit, the two Presidents will review bilateral cooperation, as well as progress made with the implementation of bilateral projects.
This will include co-operation in the fields of security, energy, and infrastructure development.
As Kinshasa’s relations with the European have become tense, President Kabila seeks to strengthen ties with countries on the continent.
