South Sudan postpone for yet another time the inauguration of a key steering committee expected to lead a “national dialogue” in the country. Officials hoped the initiative would be a step towards a lasting solution to end a deadly conflict and permit discussions for reforms and multi-party democracy in the country.
Several observers keenly following events in the country highly doubt whether the long-awaited discussions will start at all.
