Over the weekend in Senegal, the first edition of the Saint-Louis Forum kicked off. According to the organizers, the Saint Louis Forum is part of the cultural agenda of the northern city of Senegal, Saint Louis. The forum which will run for four days was opened on Saturday evening with participants from Africa and other parties of the world. Based on the theme “Africa for a new world”, artists, writers, businessmen, photographers and others from across Africa and beyond will be discussing and reviewing topics among others on education, health, the environment, the diaspora, creativity, entrepreneurship and energies. According to Amadou Diaw, president of the “Forum de Saint-Louis”, the event is “a platform that promotes African creativity in all their forms and expressions”.
