The Nigerian Armed Forces has published pictures showing airstrikes against a suspected logistics depot belonging to Boko Haram in Yobe State.
The Army said these images show Nigerian Air Force (NAF) Alpha Jet aircraft successfully attacking suspected Boko Haram Logistics Base at Allagarno.
The target is said to be an ammunition depot, a fuel depot or a facility housing other combustible materials. The strike is part of efforts to cripple the sources of supply for the Allagarno axis.
The main aim is to cripple the source of logistics for the terrorists. The Nigerian army said this is a follow-up to other missions carried out in the Sambisa Forest, and in suspected terrorists hide-outs.
The NAF has carried out a total of 55 of such missions in March 2016.
