Google is introducing a new online course -digifyafrica.com that would see one million young people on the continent get training in digital technology.
This is in spite of concerns raised by the European Commission that the tech giant is abusing its market position.
The Commission says Google is imposing restrictions on Android device manufacturers and mobile network operators.

More than 82% of the global smartphone market was delivered in 2015, according to the Gartner research group.
