Cashew nut prices have soared in South Senegal.
A kilo is now one point seven U.S dollars from one point five dollars.
And not everyone is excited about the changes, some exporters have suspended their purchases with the hope the price will drop in the near future.

Artisans in Soweto township can now showcase and export their products to the rest of the world, thanks to the Soweto’s Box shop, a local NGO based on the famous Vilakazi Street.
The entrepreneurs are getting practical assistance from the shop.
