The Egyptian Court of Appeals on Saturday rejected an appeal by former President Hosni Mubarak and his two sons over a three-year jail sentence for corruption.
Mubarak and his sons were sentenced to three years in jail without parole on May 9 in a retrial, although the trio is unlikely to go to jail again as they had already served their sentences.
Mubarak was Egyptian president for almost 13 years but stepped down during the 2011 Egyptian revolution. He was detained with his sons two-months after he stepped down.
