Fitch Ratings has assigned the African Guarantee Fund AGF an Insurer Financial Strength rating of ‘AA-’. The Guarantee Fund is an institution that partners with banks in financing of SMEs on the continent.
The latest rating is said to prove AGF’s business model as provider of local currency guarantees for small and medium sized enterprises in Africa and low investment risk.
