The Togolese Football Federation will go to congress on February 13 to elect a president and other executives to man the affairs of the country’s football fraternity.
The football federation was suspended by FIFA for mismanagement. This affected the local league for the 2014-2015 season, the games could not be held due to the suspension.
Three candidates are vying for the presidency of the federation. 53 delegates of various clubs will vote one of these three; Wona Germain, Guy Akpovy and Gerson Dobou
The Togolese Football Federation announced the arrival of the member of the executive committee of FIFA and the CAF Legal Affairs Committee to supervise the elections in the capital Lome.
Football fanatics expect the outcome of the congress to revive the country’s sport.
