Mohamed Tamalt, the British-Algerian freelance journalist who died in detention in Algeria was laid to rest on Monday. He died on Sunday after staging a hunger strike to protest against his two year sentence for publishing articles considered as offensive to President Abdelaziz Bouteflika.
