Didier Drogba’s charity foundation has been fully cleared of any wrongdoing and or corruption following a seven-month investigation by the Charities Commission.

The Commission on Thursday said they traced no evidence of fraud or corruption against Drogba’s Foundation but was found to have misled donors.
The Commission launched a full scale investigation amid claims by the Daily Mail that money had not gone to the causes.
Drogba in a series of tweets said he would be seeking damages and an apology for the claims made by the Mail and others.

The foundation has been backed by a number of high-profile individuals.
Meanwhile, the 38-year-old who played his final game for Montreal Impact on Wednesday night, will now take time to decide his next career move, but could continue playing and would join a new club during the January transfer window when he will be a free agent.
