Cameroon Anglophone lawyers continue strike [The Morning Call]

It is now one month since Cameroonian lawyers vowed to strike over what they termed government’s disregard for common law. They ‘unanimously agreed’ to extend their work boycott for another on Monday and now local media in Cameroon have reported their match on the streets was met with police brutality. Meanwhile the strongest opposition party to long term ruler Paul Biya, the social democratic front has supported the strike , with calls french magistrates should be removed from English speaking courts.
