African presidents like their counterparts around the world are known mostly for their swanky suits whenever they attend functions.

Nigeria’s Muhammadu Buhari is an exception as he prefers traditional outfits more often than not. The last time he wore a suit was during the LAST electioneering campaign IN 2015.
To some extent Ghana’s John Dramani Mahama, Niger’s Idris Deby Itno and Burkina Faso’s Marc Roch Kabore, also do well to cut into the suits every now and then.
African presidents are largely Commanders-In-Chief (CIC) of their respective armed forces. Over the past months a number of them have donned military attires in the dispatch of their duties.

Kenya’s Uhuru Kenyatta meets the King of Jordan during a recent visit to the country.
Ghana’s John Dramani Mahama, wore the military uniform during the inauguration of a military complex in Accra
For Uganda’s Museveni, an former soldier, he occasionally wears the attire even on official duties. In this picture he joined soldiers during a shooting practice.
Muhammadu Buhari, also appeared in the military uniform during a visit to troops in the northern state of Zamfara.
Gabon’s Ali Bongo Ondimba has also been spotted in military attire on a number of occasions.
A 2013 photo of Egyptian president Abdul Fatteh Al Sisi, then as a military general. He overthrew Al Sisi before standing for and winning the last elections in the country.
