Congo govt calls for public vigilance after 1st COVID-19 case [The Morning Call]

The Congolese government has called on the public to be vigilant and all travelers from high-risk countries to quarantine themselves for 14 days. It comes after a confirmation of the country’s first case of COVID-19.

The case, that of a 50 year old patient, according to Congo’s minister of communication and government spokesperson Thierry Moungalla was confirmed on Saturday evening after biological tests.
