Chad: CEMAC customs controls affect trade [Morning Call]

Customs regulations are tacking a toll on traders in Chad.

New controls were implemented in July by the Economic and Monetary Community of Central Africa, CEMAC, in order to fight against fraud.

Since then money transfers are blocked and goods are stuck at the borders leading to worries of food shortages in the capital.
