Great White shark forces halt to South African surfing event [No Comment]

Surfing officials called off competition for the day on Wednesday (July 4) when a shark moved into the surf at Jeffreys bay, South Africa.

World Surf League teams spotted the Great White shark – said to be 2.5 to three metres (8 to 10 ft) long – heading towards the surfers and postponed the competition when the shark showed no sign of moving on.
