Renamo calls for 7 day truce in Mozambique [The Morning Call]

There will be no fighting between Renamo rebel soldiers and the ruling party Frelimo in Mozambique during this festive season. The enmity between Frellimo and Renamo dates back more than two decades and last Friday Renamo declined to have a new team of mediators led by former president Joachim Chissano.
