Didier Drogba has come out in support of Serge Aurier amid mounting criticism of the Paris Saint-Germain right back following his homophobic comments towards his manager and his team-mates.

The remarks are alleged to have included homophobic slurs and an insult aimed at manager Laurent Blanc, who has since branded the full-back ‘pitiful’.

His compatriot Drogba has moved to call on the need to avoid a two-tier justice system, whereby some players receive harsher treatment than others.
Chelsea legend Drogba, now with Montreal Impact, wants the player to be educated and given a chance to learn from his mistake.
