A complaint from a coalition of west african civil society group was filed on October 7 against the former French President Nicolas Sarkozy at the International Criminal Court (ICC).
Gathered in a coalition called “Fispa”, the international front for pan-African civil societies, some 15 West African civil society associations
and organizations are accusing the former french leader Nicholas Sarkozy of “ triggering the Libyan crisis leading to the assassination of Gaddafi the former Libyan president.
The African activists who met in Bamako last weekend said their Pan-African Front of Civil Society (Fispa) is to “defend democracy, dignity and human rights in Africa”.
