Started journalism after college education. Have worked with many media establishments including privately run and Government owned publishing houses. Held the post of political editor in South South Express, a weekly newspaper that was based in Port Harcourt, Nigeria. Belongs to Forum of Afrcan Investigative Reporters (FAIR) a grouping of African investigative reporters based in South Africa. Received a grant to investigate fake malaria drugs in Nigeria which was presented in Johannesburg during the annual general meeting of FAIR. Nominated by Unicef to cover the annual conference on aids held in Nigeria in 2005.
My connection to Africa
Ghana and Angola. The two countries are oil producers. The interest is to find out how the two countries will be able to overcome Nigeria's pitfalls in management oil revenue.
