Pennipher is a 23 year old Zambian vibrant female journalist currently working for Muvi Television a station based in the capital Lusaka. She commenced her journalism career in 2006 at a local radio station Radio Phoenix were she worked for about three years in various fields.After completing her high school education in 2003 at Libala high School within the capital.
Pennipher joined the TV station in March 2010 and is currently the only female reporter on the Business desk. Since joining the desk, she has been able to tackle issues pertaining to agriculture financing, macro-economic disparities in the southern African region, Small and Medium Enterprise development to which she has more bias. SME's in Zambia are seen as the most vital players in economic development and more support to alleviate their challenges would make them better players in attaining economic targets.
Pennipher has a passion for developmental news and has been focusing on the Millennium Development Goals set for 2015.Each component of the MDG's is key to assisting in economic development and needs the same attention. She would however like to see a shift in African news writing so that it can focus on development related aspects of people's livelihood to foster positive change in society.
On the sports scene, Pennipher has a serious liking for women participation in sports that involve women and girls participation.
She has since been reporting on issues pertaining to politics, business, health, environment, gender and sports issues.
Pennipher appreciates the role of football in uniting people but hopes to see a future were the so called minor sports in order for them to be given prominence.
