I'm working as Chief Photographer with the New Habari (2006) Limited, a Tanzanian company owning five newspapers since 2005. Since 1970-1975, I was employed by The Tanzania Information Services (TIS), as an Information Assistant. In 1978-1979, I covered the Tanzania-Uganda war and transitional period in Zimbabwe in 1980 and travelled worldwide with the Founding Father of Tanzania Mwalimu Julius Nyerere. After that I was employed by Tanzania News agency (SHIHATA), as a Senior Photographer, then Chief Photographer and also worked with local news papers - the Express and Mwananchi - as a Chief Photographer, then The Guardian Limited as a Senior Photographer taking charge of the Daily Mail.
My connection to Africa
East Africa and SADC countries because I have lived and travelled in quite a number of them and so I know more or less what is happening in those countries.
