- Biography
- I am a freelance journalist and media trainer based in Zimbabwe. My experience of six years was accumulated through working for the Daily News, a daily newspaper which reported without fear or favour and was banned by the government in 2003. I then joined the weekly independent publication Zimbabwe Independent. I hold a Diploma in Communications and Journalism from the Christian college of Southern Africa (CCOSA), an Advanced Certificate in Multimedia and Online Journalism from the International Institute for Journalism (Germany) to add on to the Multimedia and Online Journalism Certificate I received from the same institution in 2005. Since 2005 I have devoted my attention to develop online journalism in southern African. This has seen me venture into training of journalists in Multimedia and Online Journalism. In 2007, I obtained a Certificate in Training of Trainers, again from IIJ and this course has helped me to become a polished trainer.
