Mazuba Mwiinga is an experienced journalist based in Zambia. In 2003 he got the first prize in the Africa Catholic Radio Script Writing Competition. In 2005 Mazuba published his first novel Born of Silence. He also emerged among African Best 12 Finalists for BBC Radio Awards 2006, How Radio Has Changed My World Writing Competition. He believes that as a journalist he is not just a messenger of news and a public informer, but also a teacher, an advocate and activist and reliable effective communicator as well. Currently is also a student of Law with University of Zambia.
